I'm not used to being in front of the camera. I am happy to be in charge of the photo session behind the lens. But I know that if I had to be in front of the camera there are a few things that could bring a smile to my face:
{Wine} well lets face it...wine brings a smile to most people's faces. But I just love drinking out of a beautifully shaped glass and having a really good reason to break out wonderful exotic cheeses I just purchased from my local cheese monger.
{The Farmers Market} nothing says fresh like homegrown produce from our local farmers. I love everything about walking around early in the morning the aromas of all the goods wafting in the air. I love getting a good cup of COFFEE (see below) and sitting down to watch the crowds pass by. I grab my canvas bags and shuffle into the crowd looking for homemade everything and love that I can show my children WHO grew their food and what it looks like straight from the farm.
{Coffee} couldn't get me to go near the stuff until I was pregnant with my first born four years ago. Couldn't stay awake at work so I'd have a small mug with mostly hot chocolate so I wouldn't have to taste the coffee. Well let me tell you that was like giving crack to a crackhead because now I think about it all day long. I plan my day so I can maximize the amount of coffee I can ingest at specific times. I love the routine of waking up in the morning, smelling the freshly brewed pot of coffee, reading the newspaper while cradling the steaming beverage in both hands. Ahh...what a great way to start any day.
{The Golden Hour} the time right before the sun sets when everything and everyone looks golden. It is very fleeting but makes for the BEST photos. During this time I am like a kid in a candy store trying to cram every last image into my camera before the light is totally gone.
{BINGO} I may not be gray haired yet but I love to play BINGO. I love the excitement that comes with trying to cover all the numbers before the next number is called. The thrill of wondering what game you are actually playing and IF you should call out BINGO. Finally, the amazement when you do win and find out you have to split the jackpot with six other winners. Ahh... it never gets old.
{Pink} the music artist...I love her music and think if I ever have a mid-life crisis don't be surprised if I end up dying my hair and getting a few too many tattoos ;)
